Saturday 28th April 2007.
We have had a day of mixed emotions today. It started off very well when we went to the shed and found Tink nursing her three gorgeous babies. As a first time mum she is doing really well.
Then at around 8.20am we felts the very scary tremors of the earthquake. We thought that at first, unlike other members of our family that we had been largely unaffected by the quake. It wasn't until mid afternoon when Paul was cleaning out that he noticed Leo seemed a little unwell. He picked him out and Leo had a massive fit in Paul's hand. We can only assume that Leo, who was from the first litter that we every bred had suffered stress from the quake which then resulted in his passing.
We are completley gutted. Leo is and always will be 'Guinea Pig Manor'.
