We have just got back from a lovely weekend in Fareham (thanks Jayne, Julie and Richard!!)
We really enjoyed the show, it was nice to see people and catch up with a natter...
Our piggies did very well and we were proud to show them, here are our results....
Pink Lady (on her last show, she now has a boyfriend!!) ~ 1st in her class out of 3, 3rd in the Longhaired Challenge AA out of 23, 2nd in the Non-self Grand Challenge Ad out of 62 and 3rd in the Grand Challenge Ad out of 86.
Pearl ~ 3rd in her class out of 5.
Raven ~ 1st in her class out of 5 and 2nd in the Non-self Grand Challenge u/5 out of 48.
Sunset Meadow ~ 2nd in her class out of 3 and 3rd in the Satin Challenge AA out of 5.

After travelling through the snow to Chiltern's we enjoyed a lovely day with friends at this well run show.

Newton Pipkin ~ 1st in his class, 3nd in the Rough/Longhair Challenge 5/8 out of 16, 2nd in the Challenge AV 5/8 out of 27 and 2nd in the Boar Challenge AA AV out of 24.
Sunset Meadow ~ 1st in her class, 1st in the Rough/Longhair Challenge Ad out of 7, 1st in the Rough/Longhair Challenge AA out of 34, 1st in the Non-Self Challenge AV AA out of 57, 1st in the Non-Self Members Points AA out of 30, 2nd in the Challenge AV AD out of 31, 2nd in the Sow Challenge AV AA out of 57 and 2nd in the Grand Challenge AV AA out of 81. Sunset Meadow was placed Reserve Best In Show. She won two trophies and three rosettes.
Sunset Meadow was also placed in the Rare Varieties Stock Show but unfortunatley cards were not available so we have to wait for them to be posted to us before we know how well she did!!!

Another good day for the Manor piggies! This time we travelled to Hassocks and although the journey there and back isn't that great we still enjoyed our day...

Pink Lady ~ 2nd in her class, 2nd in the Challenge Longhair out of 4, 2nd in the Non-Self Challenge 5/8 out of 35 and 3rd in the Challenge Non-Self AA out of 105. Pink Lady was also 5th Best in Show.
Newton Pipkin ~ 1st in his class, 1st in the Challenge Longhair 5/8 out of 4, 1st in the Non-Self Challenge 5/8 out of 35, 1st in the Challenge Non-Self AA out of 105, 1st in the Boar Challenge AVAA out of 76 and 1st in the Grand Challenge AVAA out of 145. Newton won several rosettes and three beautiful trophy's.

Today was the Kent Coast show and we had a lovely day with great results...
Newton Pipkin ~ 2nd in his class, 2nd in the Challenge Longhair 5/8 and 3rd in the Challenge Longhair AA out of 5.
Sunset Meadow ~ 1st in her class, 1st in the Challenge Satin Ad, 1st in the Challenge Satin AA, 2nd in the Challenge Coated AA out of 56, 2nd in the Non-Self Challenge Ad out of 42, 3rd in the Non-Self Challenge AA out of 110. Sunset Meadow was also in the Best in Show line up and was placed 3rd. Sunset won a trophy for Best Satin and was also 3rd Best Sow.
Raven ~ 1st in her class, 1st in the Challenge Longhair U5, 2nd in the Challenge Longhair AA -out of 5 and 1st in the Non-Self Challenge U5 out of 31, 4th in the Non-Self Challenge AA out of 110 and also made it to the Best in Show line up and was placed 4th Best Sow.

Heavenly has done it again!!! Today she littered and presented three adorable babies. One black and white boar, one silver agouti and white boar and one silver agouti and white sow. Needless to say, we are thrilled!!

Today we had a nice time at the Epsom show.
We only took 3 piggies and all did amazingly well...
Pink Lady ~2nd in her class and 3rd in the Non-Self Rough/Longhaired Challenge 5/8 out of 13.
Newton Pipkin ~ 1st in his class, 1st in the Non-Self Rough/Longhaired Challenge 5/8 out of 13, 1st in the Challenge Non-Self 5/8 AV out of 36 and 3rd in the Challenge Non-Self AV AA out of 96 (rossette). Newton also won Best Alpaca (rossette), Best Longhair (trophy) and was placed 4th Best In Show.
Sunset Meadow ~ 1st in her class, 1st in the Challenge Non-Self Marked/Ticked AV Ad out of 17 and 3rd in the Challenge Non-Self Ad AV out of 33. Sunset also won Best Satin (rossette).

It was a great day. Lots of laughs and plenty of friendly chatter. We only took 3 pigs and they all did really well but the best result today was picking up a wonderful trio of alpacas from Sally Nye.
Thank you Sally, they are all stunning. They are lovely big chunky piggies who have settled in well to their new home....
Also when we arrived home we found that Mollie has littered, producing one huge healthy golden agouti merino boar...

Sunset Meadow ~ 1st in her class, 1st in the Satin Challenge out of 13, 2nd in the Coated Challenge out of 74, 2nd in the Non Self Challenge Ad out of 63 and 2nd in the Non Self Challenge AA out of 139. Sunset Meadow was 4th BIS and won the Best Satin trophy.

Today was the 2008 London Championship show. We have visited this show for the last two years and this year we were finally brave enough to put an entry in! We took along 4 piggies and are astounded and thrilled with their results.

Sylvie littered today. She is now the busy mum of three lunks. Two boars and a sow. We are very excited that one of the boars in White and Silver Agouti which is the colour that we are planning to specialise in as our breeding programme progresses.

We travelled to North Somerset today, to visit the argicultural show and to see some piggy people! It was a great day, lots to see and do and most importantly we finally picked up our new boar from Nikki Matthews. Thanks Nikki, Oscar has settled in really well!!

Today was the Epsom show and our first show if the new year.
It was good to get back to showing and to catch up with our piggy friends.
We took our Lunkarya's Heavenly Girl and Unchie out for the first time and were extremely excited when Heavenly came second out of 12 pigs in the New and Emerging Breeds class. We hadn't expected either of the Lunks to get placed at all.
We were also pleased with our other results......

Lara ~ 1st in her class and 2nd in the 5/8 Challenge. She also got a rosette for Best of Breed PEW.
Golden Sunset ~ 1st in her class, 2nd in the Challenge and 3rd in the U5 Non-Self Challenge.
