We spent the weekend with Jayne and Richard (Carnival) in Fareham and together travelled to the Royal Bath and West show. It was a fantastic show and we really enjoyed catching up with everyone and seeing so many longhairs on the table. Here are our results...

Bristol Show
Shiny pig - 1st in her class and 3rd in the satin AA challenge out of 4.
Camelot - 3rd in his class out of 9!!

Camelot - 3rd in his class out of 5
Hippy Fizz - 2nd in her class and 3rd in the u4 alpaca challenge out of 6
Remix - 2nd in his class out of 2

Not a bad day, the show wasn't quite as 'spectactular' as I thought it was going to be, but it was great to see almost all of the breed clubs there and when they did the line up of all the club winners it looked fantastic. Great to see Julie up their with her gorgeous coronet sow...

Our results:
Freckles -1st in her class out of 3 and 3rd in the Black Dal Challenge AA out of 11.
Hippie Fizz -2nd in her class out of 2!
Chemistry -2nd in his class out of 5.
Camelot -3rd in his class out of 5.

Nikki Matthews won the best exhibit in the Peruvian Varieties Club show with 'Pretty', she also took 2nd with 'Skye' and Don Meek took 3rd with 'Guylian's Temptation AKA Tate'.

We have enjoyed a nice day at the Kent show today. Here are our results...

Purebreeds
Camelot - 2nd in his class out of 2.
Shiny Pig - 1st in her class and 1st in the U5 Challenge Satin out of 1!
Freckles - 2nd in her class, 2nd in the 5/8 Challenge Roan/Dal and 3rd in the AA Challenge Roan/Dal out of 3!
Chemistry - (he has finally made it to the show table!) 1st in his class,1st in the U5 Challenge Longhair, 1st in the AA Challenge Longhair, 1st in the AA Coated Challenge, 1st in the U5 Non-Self Challenge, 3rd in the AA Non-Self Challenge out of 122 and 2nd Best Boar out of 85. Chemistry was also placed 4th Best In Show.

Pets
Fantasy - 2nd in her class out of 2.
Dream - 1st in her class and 3rd in the U5 Challenge Pet out of 12.

25th April 2009.
Today was the Sandon show. We have had a great day with lots of fun and chatter. The pigs did really well coming home with some great results.

Sunset Meadow - 1st in her class and 2nd in the Rough/LH Challenge Adult out of 9.
Camelot - 1st in his class, 1st in the Rough/LH Challenge U5, 1st in the Rough/LH Challenge AA, 1st in the Non-Self Challenge AV AA, 1st Non-Self Members Points, 1st in the Challenge AV U5, 1st AV AA Boar and 1st in the Grand Challenge AV AA. (BEST IN SHOW!)
Camelot came home with two lovely trophies and lots of rosettes :)

12th April 2009.
The Chiltern show today held at the Thame showground was an experience!!
Our piggies did well today and we were pleased with their results..
Dynamite (1st show) - 3rd in his class out of 5.
Shiny Pid (1st show) - 1st in her class out of 2, 3rd in the non-self MP out of 13.
Freckles - 1st in her class out of 1! and 1st in the AOV non-self challenege 5/8 out of 2
Sunset Meadow - 2nd in her class out of 2!,1st non-self MP out of 13, 3rd in the Challenge Ad AV out of 9 and 3rd in the Sow Challenge AV AA out of 11.
Paul came away with a gorgeous birthday present from Jayne (with upload pics later) and we all enjoyed cheese burgers for breakfast!! Had a good, but chilly day at this small but nice show!....

22nd March 2009.
We had a lovely day at the Kent Coast show today and were really pleased with the results. We were also given a lovely u5 satin sow from Sue who will be a shiny friend for Sunset Meadow, Thanks Sue...x
Sunset Meadow ~ 2nd in her class and 2nd in the Challenge Satin Ad out of 3.
Freckles ~ 1st in her class, 2nd in the Challenge Roan/Dal U5 and 2nd in the Challenge Roan/Dal AA out of 4.
Fantasy ~ 1st in her class, 1st in the Challenge Longhair U5, 2nd in the Challenge Longhair AA and 1st in the Non-Self Challenge U5 out of 25. (Rosette).
Raven ~ 1st in her class, 1st in the Challenge Longhair 5/8, 1st in the Challenge Longhair AA (Rosette), 1st in the Challenge Coated AA (Rosette), 1st in the Non-Self Challenge 5/8 (Rosette) and 2nd in the Non-Self Challenge AA out of 88. Raven was placed 4th Best in Show.

8th March 2009.
Today was the Essex show and I must say the best one at this venue so far... There was a good entry of 250+ and we were really pleased with our results.
Sunset Meadow ~ 1st in her class out of 1.
Freckles ~ 1st in her class and 3rd in the TRW/Dal/Roan Challenge AA out of 3. (Best of Breed Dalmatian).
Tinsel ~ 1st in her class and 2nd in the Longhair Challenge AA out of 4.
Raven ~ 1st in her class, 1st in the Longhair Challenge AA out of 4, 1st in the Non-Self Challenge 5/8 out of 29 and 1st AV 5/8 out of 47. Raven took Best 5/8 in show. (Best of Breed Longhair).
And finally....He's back! (Only this time with much shorter hair...lol)
Newton Pipkin ~ 1st Ad Exhibitor Longhaired Ad Boar out of 2.

14th February 2009.
Today we visited the Sandon show. We enjoyed a nice day and had lots of fun in the snow!

24th & 25th January 2009.
We attended the Bradford Excel Small Animal show at Harrogate for the first time this year. We have had a wonderful weekend with some lovely company and we have enjoyed meeting new people and piggies.
Newton Pipkin came along for his last show and Raven made her debut in 5/8's, here are their results...

Newton Pipkin ~ Adult Alpaca - 5th out of 5 (first in the class was Nikki Matthew's pig Valentina who went on to become 4th BIS)
Raven ~ 5/8 Alpaca - 2nd out of 7 (first in the class was Nikki Matthew's pig Skye who went on to be 2nd BIS), Breeders Non-Self 5/8 - 4th out of 68, Aby/Rex/Longhair Challenge 5/8 - 4th out of 45, Sow Challenge 5/8 - 1st out of 48 and finally the Challenge AV 5/8 - 5th out of 96.
